The Selma March

The Selma March on March 7, 2015 commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Freedom Marchers who were beaten and tear-gassed as they tried to peaceably cross the bridge.

The Eppley Institute in partnership with the National Park Service, developed a series of videos called “Civil War to Civil Rights”. These videos utilize original video footage and photos from the Civil Rights Movement, original photos and maps from the Civil War, and images from the time period in between.
