After a successful pilot program of the National Park Service Trainer Development Program completed in the Fall of 2009, a new cohort will begin in January of 2010. This program has a unique design of self-study e-courses, asynchronous communication through a virtual classroom environment, webinars, and culminates with a classroom course. The participants come from a number of fields in the NPS, such as Interpretation, Risk Management, Fee Management, Facility Management, and Learning and Development.
To celebrate the accomplishment and raise awareness for professionals to enhance their training skills, the Eppley Institute is providing “Training Basics for Busy Professionals,” a three-part e-course bundle used in the National Trainer Development Program, to the general public at no cost though January 31, 2010 with coupon code NTDPLAUNCH.
