Jim Ridenour

Summary

James Ridenour, first director of the Eppley Institute for Parks and Public Lands, served in high-level park and public policy positions for almost 30 years, including three years as director of the National Park Service, from 1989 to 1992. He began his career as director of administrative services in Colorado’s Department of Agriculture and subsequently served as director of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
