As a Project Manager, Layne Elliott coordinates the Indiana Trails Study, leads workforce development and parks agency master planning projects, and works alongside other staff members on the Great Lakes Park Training Institute. Layne joined Eppley in 2016 after completing a master’s degree in Park and Public Lands Management at Indiana University.
Layne is focused on making real-world contributions to parks and public lands organizations, as demonstrated by both his current work and his project experience prior to joining the Institute. His significant projects include a Site Design Report for the Lincoln City Depot and Visitors Center at Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, a fundraising plan for the Friends of McCormick’s Creek State Park, and collaborative stewardship framework recommendations for the Great Northern Landscape Conservation Cooperative. He brings a variety of experience to Eppley, including interpretation with the National Park Service and over 15 years of financial services, training, and organizational leadership.
