This program, which will be unveiled at the 2013 Great Lakes Park Training Institute (February 25-28, 2013), is an excellent way for park professionals to continue their professional development.
This program is designed for state and local park and public lands agency employees, non-profit employees, volunteers, and students.
Successful completion of this two-year blended learning experience (combination of classroom and e-learning) will build participants' leadership, park and facility management, and team management capabilities. In order to build these capabilities, the program is rigorous, with participants required to attend and fully participate in all classroom sessions, complete all requisite e-courses, forums, and webinars, and pass all required assignments and projects with satisfactory grades.
