The Eppley Institute for Parks and Public Lands warmly welcomes Austin Hochstetler, CPRP, to the team. He joined the Eppley Institute on June 1st as a Project Manager. Austin is a recent graduate of Clemson University, where he earned his MS in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management with a concentration in Community Recreation Management. A native Hoosier, he is coming back to his home state and to a place near and dear to his heart--Indiana University. Austin received his BS in Outdoor Recreation and Resource Management from IU. His research interests are diverse and he brings with him a solid background of work in the public and non-profit sectors. Austin will contribute to parks and recreation planning, research, and professional development (among other areas) at the Eppley Institute.
