The Eppley Institute for Parks and Public Lands welcomes National Park Service Director Jonathan Jarvis to the Indiana University on Friday, April 27, 2012. Director Jarvis will discuss "National Parks and the Outdoors' Role in Public Health" as part of the 2012 Reynold E. Carlson Lecture sponsored by the Department of Recreation, Park, and Tourism Studies.

The Eppley Institute for Parks and Public Lands has been asked to recruit Indiana University graduate students for a great opportunity, all expense paid seminar, in education, research or management/conservation of cultural heritage, education, civic engagement, natural resources, biology, ecotourism, wildlife and fisheries, policy, youth and development, recreation and parks, landscape architecture, history, geography, archaeology, ethnography, museum studies or other related fields.
