Ms. Market's responsibilities at the Eppley Institute include handling all budget matters, including annual budget requests, budget forecasting, expense tracking, payroll, and the financial aspect of partner collaboration. Kelli began working with the Eppley Institute as a department secretary with effort split between the Institute and the Department of Recreation, Park, and Tourism Studies. As a department secretary, she was the primary administrative support for the Institute, including such duties as financial monitoring of approximately fifteen project accounts and assisting with travel and purchasing. Kelli was also primary support staff for the Great Lakes Park Training Institute, an annual training opportunity for park and public lands professionals.
After five years as the department secretary, Kelli became the Budget/Logistics Coordinator for the Institute. This new position required more of a central coordination, accounting and logistics role within the Institute, including budget overview and tracking of approximately thirty-five project accounts. Kelli also served as the office manager of the Institute suites and continued her role as primary support staff for the Great Lakes Park Training Institute.
In 2006, Kelli became the Accounting Associate for the Institute, a position that included an increase in budgeting responsibilities within the Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Studies.
