Summary

Ms. Capps became a Project Manager at the Eppley Institute for Parks and Public Lands in 2010. She previously served as the Institute’s primary coordinator of partnership enrichment. Before joining the Institute, Nona worked for the National Park Service as an Interpretive Park Ranger and Public Information Officer. She has a proven ability to work with diverse professionals, including Park Superintendents, Incident Management Commanders, Law Enforcement Rangers and seasonal staff.

Currently Nona plays a lead role in several Eppley Institute projects, including providing overall coordination of the Institute’s partnership with the National Park Service Interpretive Development Program. She is also a key analyst for park and protected area strategic planning projects. Her other projects include research of attitudes regarding oversand vehicle usage in the Mid-Atlantic and inter-agency partnership development with the Federal government.
